Opening and verifying an account
Signing up looks roughly the same on every site: your real details plus a KYC check before any money leaves. An ID and something that evidences your address usually suffice.
Bilingual customer service is part of the licence conditions. Document your deposits yourself, even if the site does too; in a dispute over a payout those are the only documents that count.
Paying from Belgium follows a predictable pattern: money goes in via Bancontact or Bancontact Pay, and the payout runs to your bank account. Bancontact Pay is the name the Payconiq app has carried since March 2026.
Bancontact Pay caps at €1500 per transaction and €2500 per day. What you deposit is there right away; between request and account sit usually one to three banking days, with the site's internal handling added to that.

Weekly limit, age bar and exclusion
Player protection in Belgium is arranged above the European average in strictness which feeds straight into your play limit. Each site automatically applies a €200 weekly ceiling. Downwards it goes without an intermediate step, raising happens neither easily nor instantly.
The EPIS system is the regulator's central exclusion list: whoever registers is barred everywhere immediately, online as well as offline. Registering costs nothing. Casino, gaming hall and sports betting are 21-and-over since 1 September 2024; for the National Lottery 18 remained the rule. A trial account falls under it too.

See the offerPlayer questions
- Can I change my limit?
€200 per week per site by default. Lowering it is immediate; raising it needs a check and a delay. Set it deliberately lower if you are unsure. You set it in your account settings.
- Does Bancontact work here?
Depositing with Bancontact works; the money comes back through your bank account. Mind the app's daily ceilings. A different name on the account blocks the payout.
- Do I have to declare winnings?
No. In Belgium gambling winnings are untaxed for the player — the levy sits with the operator. This has been the Belgian rule for years. At a foreign operator your tax position may differ.
- How does wagering work?
Check which games count: slots often 100%, table games sometimes 10% or nothing at all. Declining a bonus is always allowed. Watch the maximum stake while clearing, too.
- Can I have myself blocked?
You register with EPIS. It works nationally and immediately. It is the strongest brake Belgium offers. The register is not publicly searchable.
